SanDisk Sansa 4 GB MP3 Player

If you are looking for a less expensive alternative to the Apple Ipod then Sandisk has created it. A very nice player for sure but not the best sound quality in the world. Personally, I would just wait and save up the money to buy an Ipod Touch so that you can not only listen to music, but preform other functions as well. If you are going to buy a cheap music player this would not be a bad choice for your money.

Apple iPod shuffle 2 GB Silver (4th Generation) NEWEST MODEL

Want a basic music player with not too much storage space? The ipod shuffle works just fine. It would be a good basic player to give a younger child or grandchild. If they break a $30 shuffle its not near as bad as if they break a $200 Ipod touch! I personally would not ever buy the shuffle for myself but maybe as a birthday gift for my daughter when she gets 8 or 9.

Apple Ipod Classic 160 gb 7th Generation

Apple seems to do it again. The Ipod classic is in the 7th Gen and still going strong. 160 gb gives you tons of room for pretty much all the music you will ever listen to. Personally, I like the Ipod touch alot better simply because you can use it to take pictures and play so many different apps. If you are looking for a basic music player this is a great one!
